Dear Colleagues, In December 2007, local government representatives from the Local Renewables Network met in Bali, Indonesia via the occasion of the United Nations Conference on Climate Change (COP13). The meeting outlined their interests and what they wished to share with the network. They asked ICLEI to create a mailing list to connect with one another, so: Welcome to the new mailing list for the Local Renewables Network! This list is open exclusively to cities engaged in the activities of the network. With this tool, ICLEI will provide information for your local government about renewable energy, energy efficiency and what other network members are doing. We will also let you know about opportunities to collaborate on project proposals, upcoming conferences and more. Each member is able to submit to this list. Please connect to your peers by sending an email to LR-cities@iclei.org. In doing so you will reach officials from the cities listed below. As a first bit of information, we are sending you our latest publication: 'Local Renewables - Year in Review 2007'; outlining the success and activities of last year. Subscribing to LR-cities

You will be notified of the list moderator's decision by email. This is also a private list, which means that the list of members is not available to non-members.
